Rugby Tours To Poland
Rugby Tours to Poland is a new concept.
Poland is bordered by the Baltic Sea, Lithuania, and Russia’s Kaliningrad Oblast to the north.
Belarus, Ukraine to the east, Slovakia, the Czech Republic to the south and Germany to the west.
The establishment of the Polish state can be traced back to AD 966. This was when Mieszko I, ruler of the realm coextensive with the territory of present-day Poland, converted to Christianity.
Polish Kingdom was founded in 1025. 1569 it cemented its longstanding political association with the Grand Duchy of Lithuania by signing the Union of Lublin.
This union formed the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, one of the largest and most populous countries of 16th and 17th century Europe.
With a uniquely liberal political system it adopted Europe’s first written national constitution, the Constitution of 3 May 1791.
With nearly 80 rugby clubs around the country the rugby scene is growing. Festivals are proving very popular.
In the last few years several have joined the circuit. Latest one, which will be in its 3rd year in 2020 will be the Bufab Rugby Amber Cup.
