Ghent Easter Rugby Festival

Ghent Easter Rugby Festival is held at the Ghent Rugby Club and will run from the 11th April – 12th April.

2020 will be its 32nd year.  Places are being snapped up at a rapid rate, so, why not be part of it.

Before the festival there is an evening ceremony so that everyone can say hello.

Open to men, women at senior level at 10s and 7s, under 18 girls will play 7s.

Under 17s & 19s will play 15s and there’s also mixed touch/tag.

Besides the rugby there is the Belgium beer evening on the Friday.

Afterwards you have the Saturday night party which is fancy dress and there’s a prize for the best fancy dressed.

In addition you have the massive all you can eat barbecue,  hope your eyes aren’t bigger than your stomach.

Hotels and hostels are available around the city, but camping is available on site if you wish.

With over 70 teams attending from all over Europe why not add it to your calendar for next year.

You can expect a pleasant weekend of excellent rugby and meet new rugby fans and friends.

  • Run over two days at the Ghent Rugby Club.
