Rugby Tours To Edinburgh

Rugby Tours To Edinburgh and Scotland’s capital.

It has a medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town. Looming over the capital is Edinburgh Castle home to Scotland’s crown jewels. The Tower Of London would be the equivalent to England’s crown jewels.

Also in the castle you can find the Stone of Destiny,  which was used in the coronations of all its rulers.

One thing about Edinburgh is that you will find it’s very hilly but what a beautiful city.

Edinburgh like its neighbour Glasgow is represented in the Guinness Pro14 former giants of the game through the door include Jim Hamilton, Chris Paterson and former Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder.

Rugby Training with Edinburgh Rugby

Attend an intensive training session with coaches from Edinburgh Rugby working on the roles that can improve your game and players abilities.

The sessions here in Edinburgh are very good and a lot of teams comment on how good they are.

Of course, it’s all down to the coach giving the session and the Edinburgh staff that do them are very good indeed.

Teams take on a lot what is taught to them and this is shown in their results when they get home, such as winning their State Championships.

It’s all down to our training sessions and the coaches we provide.

Guided Tour Of Edinburgh Castle

This is a must see , such a splendid castle in all its glory.

The castle is at least 1100 years old and archaeologists have established human occupation of the rock that the castle is built on from since the Iron Age 2AD.

Edinburgh Castle has been a royal residence from David 1st in the 12th century to 1633 when it changed to an army garrison.

Today the castle is a major tourist attraction and every year it holds its military tattoo. This is a splendid spectacular event and not to be missed if you are lucky to get tickets.

Scotch Whisky - Irish Rugby Tours, Rugby Tours To Edinburgh

Scottish Whisky Experience

Scottish Whisky at its best as you will see from the many brands on show.

There are plenty of small distilleries around the region all willing to show you around their establishment.

Take in how Scotch Whisky is made from the beginning to the very end when it’s bottled.

You will notice that in Scotch Whisky their is no “E” as there is in the Irish way of whiskey.

This difference in the spelling comes from the translations of the word from the Scottish and Irish Gaelic forms.

A delight for all whisky lovers and of course a little sample or two at the end to finish the tour

HMY Britannia

Have you ever wondered how the Royal Family travel?

Well now you can see for yourself as you walk around HMY Britannia in all its glory of splendour.  Take in what it’s like to be a royal onboard this splendid decommissioned ship.

She is the 83rd such vessel since King Charles II acceded to the throne in 1660.

Incidentally she is the second royal yacht to bear the name, the first being the racing cutter built for the Prince of Wales in 1893.

During her 43-year career, the yacht travelled more than a million nautical miles around the globe.
